Dmitri was transferred to a veterinary facility where he underwent surgery to remove both of his eyes.

The kitten was taken in by a charity in London, England, where he received all the attention and care he needed due to his condition.
While he was at the charity, Emma showed up, a woman who was looking for a rescued cat from the streets to adopt.
When the woman contacted the charity, local staff adopted a blind cat. In general, these cats are abandoned more frequently, and finding them a forever home is considerably more challenging.
That was exactly what Emma desired, to adopt a needy animal.
Emma stated, “As soon as I met him, I fell in love with him.” From the start, he was extremely sweet and loving, and I thought he was stunning. He hugged my foot as soon as I went into the room, and I knew he wanted to adopt it.”
Dmitri now lives with his family in Emma’s house and depends on his other senses. The only difficulty is that he is not permitted to go outside alone. However, he is allowed to explore the enclosed gardens.
Despite being blind, Dmitri is well-liked and adored by his family, but he’s also a TikTok and other social media celebrity. People are particularly interested in his life because of his compassionate attitude and determination to live a regular life.
Emma had this to say: “Dmitri’s adoption was the finest decision I’ve ever made. He’s such a sweet cat, and I believe it’s fantastic that he’s become so well-known.”
Furthermore, Dmitri’s personality always helps change people’s perspectives regarding impaired cats, allowing them to accept his differences more easily.
