Have you ever sat in a state of deep contemplation and thought, “Oh, God, I wish I were a goat. I wish I were a mountain goat”?
No. Me neither, until now… briefly… while looking at pictures of these amazing climbing goats. Goats are goats, but these are, dare I use the phrase, supergoats! If these pictures don’t make you reevaluate everything you thought you knew about goats, then we’re just not on the same page (the page that, FYI, is full of goats).
These four images were published on Facebook last month by Jornal Ciencia and, with more than 70,000 shares, have ‘goats’ to be considered a viral success.
Mountain goats are found in numerous alpine regions of North America. They use their specialized hooves, made up of two-pointed toes and rough pads, to scale nearly vertical terrain. No matter how good you think you are at rock climbing, this breed is definitely better (they don’t even use safety ropes).
