Honda brings back the legend: Acura Integra Type S 2024 of new generation is shown in official photos for the first time.
Japanese car company Acura, owned by Honda, has shown the first official photos of the high-performance Integra Type S of the new generation.
The fact that Honda will develop Acura Integra Type S 2024 new generation became known in the middle of the year, when test prototypes of the model began to fall into the lenses of spies.
Those prototypes were carefully camouflaged with a fabric cloth. But now, after some time, Acura has decided to partially declassify its novelty by showing it on official photos.
However, this time the model has a camouflage, just like in spy photos, but now it is presented only in vinyl film, which covers the whole body.
However, this allows you to see some interesting details, typical for a novelty.
The first thing we’d like to pay attention to is a style of a body. The last generation of the Integra Type S was sold as a two-door coupe, but now it’s a more practical variant of a four-door liftback.
Apparently, Acura decided to return to its roots, in fact, the first generation of the model was produced in the same body.
Along with this, we can note the triple exhaust system at the rear, in the style of the last Civic Type R, looks still unusual.
By the way, it seems this is not the only thing that can connect Integra Type S and Civic Type R, but about that a little later.
The car also received large alloy wheels, probably measuring 21 inches in diameter, a modified front bumper with more air intakes, and that’s about it.
The main market for the model will be the U.S. When it will debut is unknown.
