The changes inside are the most noticeable. The entire front panel has been updated.
There is now a digital dashboard in front of the driver and the steering wheel is sleeker. The diagonal of the main unit is larger.
Also note that GAC tried a new way of mounting: the multimedia system is not built into the dashboard, but simply glued to it; looks new and premium.
Also note that the main unit is now used to control the climate system, which freed up space for the deflectors. The gears became less bulky and the central tunnel increased in size.
Buyers can choose between 6- and 7-seat options.
Smartphones can now be charged wirelessly, and the projection screen will help not to be distracted from the road.
Also worth noting is the presence of intelligent cruise control and a comprehensive “silence” system.
Please note that the length and wheelbase of the new GAC GS8 have increased significantly. They are now 4,980 and 2,920 mm, which are 145 and 120 mm more than the previous parameters, respectively.
