When you switch it to racing mode, this car comes to life. Go down, the gills in the front part open and the spoiler in the back of the car shoots out.
This is the long-awaited Project ONE from Mercedes-AMG and it is taking Formula 1 technology from the track to the streets.
This hypercar is a beast, making over 1,000 hp.
To put that in perspective, that propels you from 0-200 km/h in less than six seconds and sends you to a top speed of over 350 km/h.

Mercedes-AMG project ONE design
This car is not only powerful, it also looks amazing.
When you switch it to race mode, the car lowers, the gills at the front open, and the spoiler at the rear of the car shoots out.
Of course, the car has been designed to be as aerodynamic as possible.
Up front, it has striking carbon fiber details on the hood that tell the wind which way to go.
Meanwhile, in the back of the car, he has a huge shark fin.
Force
The 1.6-litre V6 is exactly the same as what you get in a Formula 1 engine.
The Mercedes F1 team usually only makes around 12 of these engines per year.
Now, they will make three a week to create the 275 units.
Inside
Inside, the car has a futuristic and minimalist style.
The cockpit has a carbon fiber bracket that separates the driver and passenger seats.
The seats themselves are upholstered in beautiful Nappa leather with a sports textile mesh inlay.
The bucket seats can’t actually be moved, instead you have to move the pedals with a big red lever.
The Project ONE steering wheel is packed with a bunch of crazy buttons that you don’t want to accidentally push.
One of those buttons says ‘pass’ and you press it when you want to pass someone.
To use this feature, press the button and hold down the gear stick.
With that, it will drop as many gears as possible so the revs are high, allowing you to pass someone without breaking a sweat.
Blonde Supercar Mods
This hypercar has a couple of different modes, including the “safe race” mode.
In this mode, the car will choose whether to use combustion only, electric only, or a combination of both.
It also has EV mode and a hardcore racing mode.
Mercedes-AMG will build only 275 units of the Project ONE.
Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and David Coulthard are rumored to be among those 275 clients.
Prominent Mark Wahlberg and real estate mogul Manny Koshbin are also reportedly on the shortlist to receive one.
Price and availability
The Mercedes-AMG Project ONE reportedly costs $2.72 million.
But even if you have that kind of money, you’re out of luck because all 275 units are already paid for.
